The Dutch Ministry for Agriculture, Nature & Food Quality (LNV) has requested researchers at the Agriculture and Economics Institute (LEI) (a subsidiary of Wageningen University & Research Centre) to investigate the options and instruments available for financing the Dutch landscape as well as the possible role of the Government. The request was a basis for a roundtable discussion on this topic organised with the Minister on 9th May, 2007.

verzoek van het Ministerie van LNV stelden onderzoekers van het LEI een
korte notitie op over de mogelijkheden en instrumenten voor
financiering van het Nederlandse landschap en over de mogelijke rol van
de overheid. De notitie diende als voeding voor een rondetafelgesprek
dat de minister op 9 mei 2007 over dit onderwerp organiseerde.
